Born and bread in Saddleworth, the heart of brass band country. Tom began his musical journey with local brass bands and successfully auditioned for the National Youth Brass Band of Great Britain. He studied at Chetham’s School of Music and the Royal Academy of Music, and has performed with some of the UK’s top brass bands. He is the Musical Director of the Meltham and Meltham Mills Band and Assistant Head of Stockport Music Service, where he is inspiring the next generation of Rifters!
